MUSASHI - OTSU ON BEING STRONG
In this segment, Otsu (Musashi's cuter half) has a discussion on being strong with Takuan (Musashi's Zen mentor). Musashi is called by his childhood name Takezo. The kanji for Musashi can also be read Takezo.
At the end of the segment, Otsu tells a fawn that Takezo won't be returning to the hut. This alludes to Takezo's oneness with the fauna in his environment.

When I watch this all I can think about is how I wish there would be an ending to the Vagabond manga someday. Yea you can fill in the ending from the movies, shows and history but it's not the same. Such a bummer.

Upon arriving, Musashi immediately noticed how the bodyguard's sandals were arranged. They had come prepared to fight on the beach with cords wrapped around the sandals to create cleats. The plan was to wait until one of the great swordsmen had died and then rush the survivor. Musashi managed to evade this tactic too.

I still love the inagaki samurai trilogy with toshiro mifune. Out of all the stories ive seen about musashi that ones been the most entertaining. Maybe not the most historical but they got the crucial parts right.
Correct me if I got the story wrong, Musashi didn't want to kill Kojiro because he saw his younger self in Kojiro, after this fight Musashi became more pacifist knowing that he could have been killed the same way Kojiro did when he was younger and stopped being a killer.
